BS or MS in Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, or other quantitative field with some experience in Marketing
Ability to gather, analyze, document and validate business requirements.
Ability to gather & query business data from different data sources/databases using SQL and/or other tools such as Alteryx or Knime
Familiarity with one or more data sources such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle database or Amazon Redshift
Ability to analyze data, identify trends and present findings with recommendations
Ability to use tools such as Tableau or Power BI to analyze and build reports/dashboards (Looker, ThoughtSpot and Sisense, a plus)
Familiarity with Python or R is a plus
Demonstrate a desire to remain current with features in the latest industry technologies and standards
You must reside or relocate to Columbia, MD or Denver, CO
Studying for a degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
Solid understanding of DBMS concepts such as relations, keys, and views
Commanding grasp on SQL (DDL, window functions, CTEs etc.)
Working knowledge of at least one ETL Tool (Pentaho, Alteryx, Talend, Informatica etc.)
Working knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server (>2021)
Ability to perform Data Cleaning and Data Visualization
Sharp and tenacious troubleshooting skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Dedicated team player who enjoys working closely with others
Proficiency in Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is mandatory.
SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, Data Analysis
Experience working with cloud technology (i.e., Azure) is a large plus, but not required
Strong ability to prioritize assigned tasks, with guidance from senior members of cross-functional teams and leadership
Self-starter, highly motivated, and possesses excellent written/verbal quantitative skills, which are counterbalanced by creative thinking and innovative approaches to problem solving
Ability to manage and abstract the business value of moderate to large datasets
Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a PhD degree in machine learning, AI, computer science, statistics, or scene semantic understanding; or equivalent experience required
Be able to evaluate, improve, or develop advance machine learning algorithms for complex use cases
Experience communicating research ideas and machine learning for public audiences of peers.
Experience working in teams.
Knowledge in a programming language (Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc)
Familiar with the ML development lifecycle – data acquisition and annotation, ML model design and implementation, ML model evaluation and deployment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations.
Ability to participate in a full-time internship between May-September
