你知道残疾学生在美国上大学的机会很大吗？上海美国中心很荣幸地请到国际残疾人权利倡导者和Traipsin’ Global on Wheels的创始人Ming Canaday 做客。此次讲座将讨论美国大学为残疾的国际学生提供合理便利的机会。Ming Canaday 涉及变通性设计、适应性健身和无障碍旅行相关的宣传和行动领域。她经常在美国大学为大学生、大学管理人员、非政府组织倡导者、医疗专业人员和有兴趣学习如何更好地将残疾人纳入工作场所的公司发表演讲并举办研讨会。Did you know that there are great opportunities for students with disabilities to attend college in the United States? The Shanghai American Center is proud to welcome Ming Canaday, International Disability Rights Advocate and Founder of Traipsin’ Global on Wheels. This will be an opportunity for Chinese students to talk about reasonable accommodations American universities can make for international students with disabilities. Ming Canaday works in the field of outreach, advocacy, and activism related to universal design, adaptive fitness, and accessible travel. She regularly speaks and gives workshops at American universities to college students, university administrators, NGO advocates, medical professionals, and companies interested in learning how to better include persons with disabilities in their workplace.The event will be conducted in Chinese.
