Ring of Fire

Ring of Fire

 

Once in a while,

the sun gets into

a down mood,

loses his smile.

 

His face darkens,

Only the edge bright.

 

See, sometimes,

even the sun

needs a silver lining,

let alone clouds,

or anything below them.

 

He quickly gets

out of the sorrow,

never leaves it

to tomorrow.

 

That's what

we should do.

Updated with a disclaimer and a Chinese version. Yesterday

I wrote and posted the English poem in a hurry and then went to mow my lawn and do other errands without thinking more carefully of the need for the disclaimer. Later I also composed the Chinese version.
