我觉得语法有问题，应该把 For去掉,该成这样
1. God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,　so that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
或者是删除 that,

For 和 that 都要才对，因为和所以

就英语而言，大家常用的才是对的，没有铁的语法。
比如刚来美国时，我说我不伤害人：I don't hurt anybody。或者 I hurt nobody.
结果老美说我的说法是错的，要说 I don‘t hurt nobody。
我说这不是负负得正？
他们不管，习惯就是这样。
圣经是老美从小背大的，凡是和圣经语法不一样的，肯定是错的。

英文是照着希腊文圣经翻译过来的。按着楼主的意思，翻译可以随便改变原文的句子与
句子之间的逻辑关系了？希腊文圣经句子与句子之间都是带有逻辑联系的。

其实对照原文，你就会看到在我点在第一个that前的一个逗号。因为。。。，所以（引
出条件或是方式从句）。。。，that（这个that是表示目的的），这3个连接词，希腊
语是用了不同的三个字，表达了不同的逻辑链接。

又想了想，把 that 改作 he
For (God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son), he (whoever
believes in him) shall not perish but have eternal life.

I don't hurt nobody这样的双重否定句式源于黑人英语。后来被视为教育程度低的人
的说法。再后来成为习惯用语，尤其在非传统地区，说的人不见得是教育程度低的。但
I don't hurt anybody也没错，语法上还更正确。说这句话是错的老美有点狭隘了吧。

英文的学术刊物上是不会发表这样的句子的：
I don't hurt nobody.
就像中文，平时你可以说内牛满面，学术刊物不会让你这么写。

"I don't hurt anybody." 「我不做傷人的事。」
"I hurt nobody."「我做（可能傷人）的事（但是）沒傷到人。」
"I don't hurt nobody." 非正式語法，雙重否定句式，
有時候用爲強調之意。
這些句子還是有差別的，但是一般以英語爲母語的人
也不一定說的出來差別在哪裏。
