Hiring | Director of Operations

Our client is a service provider for emerging and growing companies seeking opportunities for international expansion, especially in China. Supported by overseas and domestic teams, our client speed the connection between global innovation companies and the Chinese market, with the goal to drive outstanding enterprises to land smoothly and develop rapidly in China. Meanwhile, our client provides innovative workspace to help the business development of the landing enterprises. 

Location 

The job is in Cambridge, MA, but you will be involved in an international work environment and collaborate and work closely with our on-site team in Boston. 

Responsibilities 

• Effectively represents the CEO and follows through with internal and external stakeholders on matters related to day-to-day operations and people management

• Effectively leads key activities and organizational performance, including start-ups recruitment, innovation community build-up and service scope, program, and database development

• Works effectively with the cross-border team to ensure the program implementation

• Supports the mission and strategic objectives of the company by helping to ensure programs operate effectively and are compliant with the objects and standards, adequately supported via staff and other resources

• Regularly interact with functional management to assist in developing and tracking key performance and key results of the team

• Closely coordinate HR management and legal to ensure operational excellence

• Lead all company’s Boston site operations including marketing, sales and community development

Qualifications 

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university required, advanced degree and/or other relevant certifications desirable

• Minimum of 4 – 6 years in the innovation industry and minimum 2-3 years of the leading team

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

• Exceptional professional style with a strong customer service approach

• Role model in organizational skills, attention to detail and accountability

• Comfortable working with a cross-border team

• Bilingual skill is required (Chinese and English)

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G suit, CRM database management will be required
