1. 要翻译这段文字，首先要明确“中医”和“西医”在英文中怎么说。中医，毫无疑问就是traditional Chinese medicine，或者缩写TCM，西医似乎处理成Western medicine的多一些，但其实也可以处理成modern medicine，即现代医学，以对应中医中的传统。 

2.“独特的生命观、健康观…”，独特是distinctive而非distinct。Distinctive: having a quality or characteristic that makes sth different and easily noticed; distinct: clearly different or of a different kind，一般搭配from，做distinct from。 

3.“随着人们健康观念变化和医学模式转变，中医药越来越显示出独特价值。”这句话原译为“Its special value is increasingly demonstrated with the transformation of health concepts and medical models.”后改为“The transformation of people’s perception of health and medical models has made TCM’s special value more and more acknowledged.”之所以这样修改，是因为英语写作中一个很重要的原则是，能用主动态就尽量不用被动态。 

4. “优势互补，相互促进”，complement and reinforce each other，这个是一个比较固定的表述，要考CATTI或考研的小伙伴可以记一下。
