具体说，不是简单的S和H，而是S和H/NEC双学位（包括音乐）之间的选择。NEC= New England Conservatory of Music.
准备学CS。如果简单地选S或H，大概率会选S（有option可以只选H不选NEC，但暂时不考虑这个option）。
H/NEC五年制双学位，四年本科，第五年音乐硕士。这个项目每年招约5-7名学生。（学费要多交一年，另外前四年每年还要多交大约一万给NEC，但这不是主要考虑因素）。Upside是继续专业的音乐训练，并到东部见世面，或者说体验不一样的环境。Downside是CS不如S, 五年制音乐硕士增加不确定性。

如果不是典型的题目里说到的那种娃，就无脑选H。
而H选择比较多，同时做钢琴的也不少，在S几乎没有。
我唯一做的就是给足钱，让她自由自在做自己喜欢的。现在的结果是：她对钱无所谓：）说是对物质享受没兴趣，更追求career 成功
所以我会让孩子自己选
我觉得还是看娃性格。如果是那种开朗阳光，思想很活跃，喜欢交友，有creative thinking的能力，理科又很拔尖的，选S over H 可能更适合。
我家也是同时中了H和S，但我娃不是上面所说的类型，所以无脑选了H。
是关键。
因为你没时间去参加各种clubs和活动，那才是大学生活的重点。最后两边疲于奔命，都没搞好。选一头吧，另一边当爱好继续玩。
因为，娃知道他要啥。
一个人的时间，精力都是有限的。多出些时间社交，玩耍，认识朋友更值得。
如果真爱，她会毫不犹豫地选择H，如果觉得自己只是一路过关斩将，不知不觉就走到这一步，当然应该去S。在加州S学CS是得天独厚的条件。
乐器一般都要花很多时间。Vocal相对较少。
在H的学位是经济
在NYU斯登读了博士，去大学做了tenure track assistant professor.
如果重点是CS，那S的资源无以伦比。

知道有带乐器的学生被Uber司机要求乐器放在trunk里面，学生说我的乐器不能离手。乐器的价值大概超过了Uber汽车:-)。至少voice的学生没这个问题。
