How about
Chivalrous: adj. Marked by gracious courtesy and high-minded consideration
esp. to women. ("gallant" can have roughly the same meaning)

Quite good, though I think 怜香惜玉 implies much more than courtesy and
consideration:)

咦,我怎么觉得"怜香惜玉"已经是中偏贬了. 刚才差点要说"lady's man"的.
你那"more than"指的,难道是贾宝玉同学"模糊的女权思想"不成?

贾宝玉 is the man that comes to mind, natually. But that has nothing to do
with 女权思想 la. I think it implies appreciation, sympathy, compassion.
