According to the Institute of International Education’s 2022 Open Doors Report, the number of international students pursuing a graduate education in the United States rose by 17% during the 2020/21 academic year.    

On January 12, EducationUSA will host a joint information session with representatives from the State University of New York in Albany Office and New York University. This session aims to equip prospective students with everything they need to know about applying to graduate school—from tips on entrance exam prep to make your letter of recommendation and personal statement stand out from the rest. We’ll also walk you through the scholarship process and highlight the importance of life outside the classroom in networking and building a strong resume to secure your chosen career path. 

The information session will be conducted in English and Chinese. 

Brief Introduction of Guest Speaker  

Chloe Glenn is the Assistant Director of Graduate Recruitment at the SUNY University at Albany in Albany, NY. She assists with the strategic recruitment for all graduate programs regionally, nationally, and internationally.  Prior to joining the UAlbany Graduate School, Chloe worked in the fields of public health and social welfare. Chloe has her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs as well as her Master of Social Work (MSW). 

Jason C. Chu is the Assistant of Director of Marketing and Recruitment, Tandon School of Engineering at New York University and has over ten years’ experience in admissions and students’ affairs. He works closely with universities, government and EducationUSA offices in East Asia to deliver information of US Higher Education and helps NYU Tandon Graduate School prospect students to have full pictures of admissions procedures and NYU Tandon values and mission. 

Jason graduated from MS Management, New York University in 2008 and same year starts his career in admissions office.

1月12日， EducationUSA 将主办的一场关于研究生申请专场讲座，旨在帮助学生了解研究生院申请、标准化考试、推荐信、个人陈述、奖学金和就业等。 

我们邀请您参与本次活动，一起学习了解公立和私立学校研究生学院的申请流程，本次讲座邀请到了纽约州立大学奥尔巴尼分校研究生招生办公室Chloe Glenn女士和纽约大学研究生招生工程系的招生代表一起分享。  

本次讲座将以部分中文及部分英文在线进行。
