我们生活在一个相互依存和持续进行跨文化实验的时代。在各个方面和艺术形式上，我们都比以往任何时候更全球化。而嘻哈文化也随着各国之间的联动逐步发展，不断扩大。中国也接纳并以自己的方式改变了这门艺术。本次嘻哈泛音系列将探讨嘻哈文化如何从美国街头走到中国的城市和乡村，以及嘻哈文化如何将文化和社区融合在一起。本期活动我们将与那些创造出我们屏幕上看到的作品的，富有才华和远见的摄像师和制片人交谈。加入我们，听听这些摄像师如何通过他们的镜头来讲述嘻哈文化的故事，以及他们的工作如何启发世界各地的人。

We live in an era of interdependency and cross-cultural experimentation. We are more globally connected than ever before, in all aspects and art forms.  Hip Hop culture has evolved and expanded with the rise of cross-pollination between countries, and China has adopted and transformed the art.  Hip Hop Harmonics explores how Hip Hop culture has progressed from the streets of America to the bustling cities and countryside of China, and how this art binds cultures and communities together. This session, we will talk with those talented and visionary videographers and producers who help create what we see on the screens. Join us and hear how these videographers tell stories of Hip hop through their lenses, and how their work helps inspire people from all over.

关于嘉宾 About the Speakers

Ricky Watson来自亚利桑那州图森市。Ricky拥有用过诺丁汉特伦特大学国际关系学硕士学位。Ricky在中国执教近四年半，在教学之余，他的时间基本投入于在上海和大中华地区的社区建设性及相关活动。

Ricky Watson is from Tucson, Arizona. Ricky holds a Master’s of Arts degree in International Relations from Nottingham Trent University, England.  Ricky has lived in China as a teacher for nearly 4 1/2 years, and outside of his school hours he spends time in community-building activities and events all around Shanghai and Greater China.
