请教septic tank

在看一个duplex，在亚特兰大附近，用septic tank。如果验房没有明显drainage问题，需要做septic tank inspection吗？ 我的经纪说通常没有明显问题就不做。因为要开拖拉机去挖，可能要五百块。

我怕的是如果有问题修起来是不是很贵？

尽量不要买septic tank的房子，麻烦

肯定是麻烦，但是没有那么麻烦。

一般不会有问题的。你要跟一个inspection公司签合同，每三个月检查一次。一年200-300刀

另外你可以给seller要inspection report或者找inspection 公司要report

你就去政府查查，装了多少年就大致有数。一二十年的最多就是修，超过三十年的，就可能要换。寿命可以到五十年。换要花2-3万。

Other areas, for example, Texas-- easy, 省大钱， compared to public water and sewer;  maintain it every 5 years -- $500 only.

我经常有septic tank的房子。一点不麻烦，清理加检查500是值得的。不过买房我一般不检查。

我50年代的septic tank都不会有什么问题。最怕的是管道被树根撑破。

一般不用担心。实在不放心可以检查一下tank。把地挖开是检查啥不理解。
