Is there a real threat of China spreading communism?
Interesting question. Is Confucianism communism? I know China established many Confucius Schools in the US and Europe. Confucius was born in 551 BC, 2300 years before Marx was born.
Communism was invented in Europe. Is Europe a threat to China by spreading communism to China? As far as I know, Chinese scholars and the public never consider the spread of communism from Europe to China as a threat to China.
Chinse experience threats, and real military invasions, from Europe and America for more than a century. Britain invaded China in 1840. Britain and France together invaded China in 1860. Britain, France, America, and the other 5 powers together invaded China in 1900. After Europe spread communism to China, China managed to resist the invasions of European powers and America. It appears to China that spreading communism is not a threat, rather, it is a blessing.
First, we have to recognize the direction of the spread. Communism has spread from Europe to China, not the reverse. Second, communism originated in Europe and has spread to the world. It now exists all over the world, including Europe and America. Go to European and American libraries, you can find the works of Marx. In other words, Europe and America don't need to wait for China to spread communism to have it. They have communism already. There have been communists in Europe and America for a long time, earlier than China had communism.
Does China bomb a country as an operation of regime change to have that country become communist? No. China never had such an operation. It is America and Europe using military operations and economic sanctions to make regime changes that propagate their ideology. China never threatened any country because the country is not communist. It is America and Europe have been threatening China, before and after China becomes a communist country. European powers and America have had threatening China since 1840, regardless China is communist or not.
