Session 13: A World at War: The United States and World War II
Friday, May 19, 2023, 3:00-4:30p.m.
World War II affected more people globally than any previous conflict. From 1941-1945, the United States fought two wars, one against Nazi Germany in Europe and another across the Pacific against the Empire of Japan. Join us for an informative, lively, and candid discussion on how the United States mobilized for war, how the war transformed American society, and how it contributed to the division of the postwar world into superpowers.
