美国每年5月庆祝美国亚太裔传统月（Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month），弘扬美国亚裔、夏威夷原住民和太平洋岛人丰富多彩的历史和他们对国家的贡献。欢迎大家和我们一起观看纪录片《格蕾丝·李计划》， 该片探讨了亚裔美国人身份在文化上的认识和经常的误解。放映结束后，演讲嘉宾将分享他的亚裔美国人身份如何影响他在美国个人成长、学术发展与从业经历，并与观众进行讨论。
Each May, the United States celebrates Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, honoring AANHPI peoples’ rich history and contributions to the country.  Join us for a screening of the documentary film “The Grace Lee Project,” which explores cultural assumptions and (often) misunderstandings of an Asian-American identity.  After the screening, the guest speaker will share how his Asian-American identity impacted his personal, academic, and professional experiences in the United States, and engage in discussion with the audience.   

活动将用英文进行。本次活动广州美国中心只能容纳40位观众，先到先得，满员后则不再允许入场，成功报名活动不代表一定保证可以入场，感谢您的理解。
This event will be conducted in English.  The Guangzhou American Center will only seat 40 visitors for this event.  The event is first come, first served, and will close when the event is full.  Reservation does not guarantee entry.  Thank you for your understanding.

Attendees will need to show their physical ID or passport to be admitted into the Consulate.  We do not provide safekeeping services for cameras and laptops, please do not bring them with you.  Other belongings will be temporarily stored at the gate, including mobile phones and bags.

If you have any symptoms of physical discomfort, please do not attend.  We will take all possible measures to maintain a safe environment for public events.  Our facilities have state-of-the-art air filtration systems specifically designed to prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses in the building.  Strict sanitary measures will be taken at the venue, and hand sanitizer and face masks will be provided.  The number of attendees at each event will be limited per current public health guidelines.
