The Bay of Fires coastline stretches for 50 kms from Binalong Bay in the south to Eddystone Point in the north.
蓝得透明的海，大片的白沙滩，橘红色的岩石就是这一片的特点，原以为bay of fires来源于橘红色的岩石，后来在ST Helens的一个私人大航海博物馆知道：The Bay of Fires was named by English navigator Tobias Furneaux in 1773 when he saw fires burning along the coast, lit by Tasmanian Aboriginal people. Aptly, the area of larapuna, which includes the Bay of Fires, is the setting for one of Tasmania’s first Aboriginal tourism ventures.
