这句话中，首先中文中“一个细节是”这几个词就没必要翻译，后面说的其实就是照片和视频中展现的香香的状态。包括后面的“鲜少有食物残渣散落在毛发的缝隙里”其实说的就是毛发中没有什么食物残渣，所以这里用free of food scraps 就可以清楚表达意思了。没必要翻译成“ few food scraps in the fur”这种。
2. 补全信息，在中译英时，有时需要补全一些信息。在条件允许的情况下（比如平时做翻译的时候，可以查阅相关资料）尽量补全信息。因为英文更强调细节具体，中文有时可以是比较含蓄笼统的。

3. 一些词汇表达的积累
（1）这说明，香香在日本生活期间，得到了非常细心，甚至是精致的照料。

非常细心，笔者最开始用的是very carefully，最后审校老师换成了“meticulously”和一个词就可以表达“in a careful and cautious way” 。
