I can't think about math in Chinese, let alone teach anyone
All the math terms I know are in English. The Chinese math books would get me very confused.
I teach middle school and high school math online now, it seems very easy. My daughter takes the courses from AoPS, I can help her with algebra. She's 11 years old but her math is at 7 to 8th grade level. I don't try to push her to the level of math competetion, or for getting into very selective colleges. One reason is that it's too hard for the kids to spend so much time competeting with the others, they're just children and should have a fun time with siblings or other kids. The other reason is it's not worth the money and efforts to try to go to the most prestigious colleges. It's very selective and expensive. We surely cannot afford paying for it. And the chances of being accepted are minimum. So my kids don't need to set up goals for that. They just need to keep a good GPA in high school and any college will do. If they cannot keep the good performance like A B average, they can find a job in the military, or go to a trade school, community college or get into an apprentice. My sons can do whatever job they want to do. I don't care. My daughter should go to some college nearby and get a professional job. Girls need that kind of job as a safety net. Boys don't. They can do more physically challenged jobs and accumulate wealth: be a plumber, AC technician, truck driver, retail mananger, etc... They will be fine as long as they can get a good start somewhere with an entry level job.
