tenure track 解雇给1年时间找工作，non tenue是90天。

好像是50%从funding出。
现在faculty真没啥意义啊。 不如去企业。

你们那真是黑心啊。 Indiana这边学校是20%-30%，有天牛也一样。

没必要拿教授开刀。大学首先应该减少administrative workers。

这个不同的系不一样 医学院有soft money 而且随着年限比例上升 工程学院一般都是9个月的hard money

New faculty typically go through a probationary period before they are considered for tenure. 公立大学里很多staff是有后台的，不定是什么州政府官员塞进来的七大姑八大姨，惹不起；只能拿发考题开刀。

太反智了。以后优秀的教授都不去那州的大学了。

那以后谁还当教授啊

某藤医学院N年前就这样了 知道有临近退休自己没funding从合作者那里也不分不到羹拿不全工资的faculty就干脆提前退了

好多拿到Tenure的就整天混日子。这个没啥不好

学术界吸引力越来越差了

记得上次也是这种一句话假新闻，回帖十几页，不知道挂在版上意义是啥

看不懂你标题说什么。

楼主可能不知道tenure track是啥意思。tenure track ap是奔着tenure去但还没有拿到tenure的ap。non-tenure track的就是只讲课那种，没有tenure可能的。

是的，有人拿到以后连最基本的教书上课都不好好干，上课经常迟到，这个措施不一定是坏事儿。

没有天牛，估计以后德州学校没什么好教授了。本来这里也就两个好学校

朋友在德州做教职，没啥实质的影响。谁要是乱开除tenured的教授，就是撕开了一道口子，早晚自己也被lay off。没那么傻的

如果这么搞，还会有人沉下心来坐冷板凳做研究吗？有些学科就是不可能有那么快变现，这么弄弊大于利
