面试技巧｜如何回答Why do you want this job？3个简单小步骤，答到Hiring Manager心坎里！

“Why do you want this job？” 又是一道面试必考题，这道题的问法多种多样，但一旦理清思路，准备好答案，可以搬到很多需要展现你对公司或者职位热爱的Behavioral问题中。

该如何准备呢？我们给大家分析一下，如何从三个角度出发，展示自己的热情，拉进和面试官的距离。

这道题其实是展示你对公司了解的好机会。所以需要花时间，从多个角度了解公司，比如：

可以研究公司的网站内容，广告去了解公司品牌，业务战略和文化；关注你申请的部门和职位，通过Job Description或者找人交流了解这个领域/行业/团队近期发展，和正在进行的新项目，同时关注自己的优点可疑怎样为公司服务；Research之后选择一些自己最感兴趣的点，整理出来，和自己背景的契合度越高越好。

举个例子，如果你想表达对一家Quantitative asset management company的热情：

“When I saw the opening, the first thing that caught my eye was definitely it was at Offerbang Asset Management. I know that you build a lot of your tools in-house, and run a variety of long-term and short-term strategies in the U.S. equities markets using a quantitative approach.”

特别是对于规模不大小的公司，如果你能对公司所做的事情非常了解，一定会给面试官留下深刻印象。这意味着面试Startup和小公司的小伙伴可以更好的利用这一点。

你还可以从和职位相关的技能和经历入手，表明你非常喜欢类似的经历，这样，以来可以表明你对工作内容的热爱，同时也可以向面试官展现你具有相关的技能，可以胜任工作，一箭双雕，是不是很机智！

那么具体要如何操作呢？首先，你需要找出这个职位对应聘者的Expectations，以及Job Description里列出来的必备技能。然后，挖掘你过往经历里可以体现相关技能的例子，讲一个漂亮的故事，说明你为什么想做这个工作。

比如延续上面的Quantitative Asset Management的公司的例子：

"And the part that really interested me was the chance to combine both my programming skills and the quantitative analysis skills. I've worked as a software engineer in the Consulting Club at school for years, and I've done several quantitative investment academic projects and found them very interesting and intellectually challenging." 

在这里要注意尽量保持简短，专注突出一些关键的、相关的能力和经历。

你还可以从职业生涯的角度，说明这个职位对你的意义，以及最好让面试官感受到你想长期在这个公司工作。而不是把这个职位当垫脚石。接着上面Quantitative Asset Management的例子：

"I've been actively seeking a position that lets me engage with my growing interest in finance, especially investing and portfolio management. Joining a quant shop makes sense to me because I think it's one of the few places where I'll still be able to use my technical skills and spend my day thinking about investment. I'm really excited to learn more and see how I'll be able to contribute the firm."

这样既表明这你对工作的兴趣，有说明他对你长期发展的意义。

将上面三个部分连在一起，一个完整的“Why do you want this job？”答案就有了：

"When I saw the opening, the first thing that caught my eye was definitely it was at Offerbang Asset Management. I know that you build a lot of your tools in-house, and run a variety of long-term and short-term strategies in the U.S. equities markets using a quantitative approach.

And the part that really interested me was the chance to combine both my programming skills and the quantitative analysis skills.
