本次讲座将探讨公民记者在新闻报道中所扮演的角色以及他们使用的工具(主要是社交媒体、博客和网站)。此外,本次讲座还将进一步讲解辨别虚假信息,并提供有关人们如何确保他们在在线操作时与他人共享准确信息的小贴士。
This session will explore the role of citizen journalists in news coverage and the tools they use - primarily social media, blogs, and websites. This talk will also expand upon identifying false information and provide tips on how people can ensure they are sharing accurate information with others while operating online.

This event will be conducted in English. In order to maintain social distancing guidelines, the Guangzhou American Center will seat 50 visitors for this event. The American Center of U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou is launching a series of five sessions to help journalism students, citizen journalists, online content creators, and social media practitioners to assess and consume information wisely.
