中国约有超过一千七百多万的视障人士。他们如何“看”电影？无障碍电影是一个解决方案：用嵌入的声音将视觉影像和屏幕中的动作翻译为口述的语言。在上海，有一群人在致力于为视障人士提供无障碍电影。他们是如何工作的？如何在上海更容易找到这些服务？欢迎来加入我们的对话，由富布赖特学者肖维青教授和光影之声无障碍影视中心创始人韩颖女士共同主持，一起讨论如何让视障人士更便捷地“看”到电影。他们（在导盲犬安安的协助下）也会分享每一个人为我们的社会更加可及化可以做些什么的小贴士。
China has more than 17 million visually impaired people. How do they “watch movies?” The solution is audio description: an embedded voice that translates visual imagery and action on the screen into spoken word. In Shanghai, there is a group of people that has been dedicated to providing audio description for the visually impaired. How does it actually work? How easily can you find the service in Shanghai? Join our speakers, led by Professor Xiao Weiqing, Fulbright scholar, and Ms. Han Ying, founder of Sound of Light Audio Description Center, for a conversation about how to make the movie experience more accessible for the visually impaired. They will also share tips (with the help of “An An” the guide dog) on what everyone can do to make our society more accessible.

由于疫情期间，所有到场观众都必须佩戴口罩，保持“社交距离”，在进入上海美国中心前，所有观众都将进行体温测试，并需要出示您的健康码。参加活动请务必提前报名。活动会准时开始，是否有余位视现场观众到场情况而定。如果您到达时房间已满，你可能将不被允许进入，即使您已经报名。目前，我们只能保证到达的前60名观众入场。
During this time, the audience must wear masks, maintain social distancing requirements, take temperature test and show a Shanghai health code before entering the Shanghai American Center. Please be sure to RSVP if you intend to come.  Programs begin on time and seats are subject to space availability. If the room is full when you arrive, you might not be granted entry, even if you RSVP'd. We can only seat the first 60 guests at this time.

我们至少会在活动开始前15分钟启动安检流程以及入场。请您携带有效并带有照片的身份证件原件进入上海美国中心，证件复印件或照片将不被接受。
Doors will open and security screening will commence 15 minutes before the program starts. You must bring a valid physical photo ID in order to enter the Shanghai American Center (ShAC). Copies or pictures of IDs will not be accepted. 

安检过程中，我们会对所有即将进入上海美国中心的物品进行扫描。请勿携带笔记本电脑进入上海美国中心，手机、iPad及其他平板设备、智能手表等允许携带。
All belongings carried into the ShAC will be scanned during security screening. While guests may not bring laptop computers to Shanghai American Center programs, portable electronic devices, such as mobile phones, iPads and other tablets, and smartwatches are permitted.

Press inquiries should be directed to the U.S. Consulate Shanghai Press Office. Additionally, audio or video recording of the program will not be permitted.
