Saturday night online Comic Creation Workshop series will continue on May 27. The free online workshops are in English with Chinese translation. Both beginners and those with limited experience are welcome. The workshop is open to students, enthusiasts, and artists.

SATURDAY, MAY 27, 2023, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Learn how to make a mini-comic and use it in your real life to entertain and educate audiences. How to make fun and informative stories that address a variety of social issues. Participants will learn the entire process from Chinese comic book creator, Migo. The course is ONLY in Mandarin Chinese.
讲师:MIGO,中国女性主义漫画家和插画家。从性别视角出发,她的网络漫画《孤人剧场》探讨了各种社会问题,包括女性、环境和动物福利。MIGO曾主讲过一系列聚焦于当下年轻人面对的社会问题的漫画工作坊,帮助他们通过漫画的形式发出自己的声音。
Instructor: MIGO is a feminist comic artist and illustrator. From a gender perspective, her web comic Solo Theatre explores various social topics, such as women’s issues, environmental issues, and animal welfare. Migo is leading a series of comic workshops that focus on the current social issues for young people, helping them find their voice through comics.
