玛莎·葛兰姆是美国现代舞者和编舞家。她的风格，即葛兰姆技巧，重塑了美国舞蹈，至今仍在世界范围内教授。上海美国中心荣幸邀请到玛莎·葛兰姆现代舞团首席舞者辛颖女士和大家分享玛莎·葛兰姆在现代舞中扮演的角色。她达到哪些艺术成就？又是如何影响一代又一代的舞者、演员和艺术家们的。她还将解释葛兰姆的核心技术的核心以及舞团如何在玛莎·葛兰姆去世后继续生存和发展。来自上海利达学院的卜智城老师也将参与讲座。
Martha Graham was an American modern dancer and choreographer. Her style, the Graham Technique, reshaped American dance and is still taught worldwide today. The Shanghai American Center will welcome Ms. Xin Ying, the principal dancer of Martha Graham Dance Company, to share her thoughts about Martha Graham's role in modern dance, her influence on generations of dancers, actors, actresses and artists, and her artistic achievements.  She will also explain the core of the Graham Technique, and how the Company continues to survive and thrive after Martha Graham's death.  Bu Zhicheng from Shanghai Lida College will also join the lecture.

嘉宾介绍
Introduction of Speakers

辛颖于 2011 年加入玛莎·葛兰姆现代舞团，主演了《Cave of the Heart》、《Chronicle》、《Diversion of Angles》、《Clytemnestra》、《Woodland》和《I Used to Love You》等众多剧目，于 2008年获得中国荷花奖。她曾任四川文化艺术学院舞蹈系主任，玛莎·葛兰姆现代舞团、北京舞蹈学院、南京艺术学院客座教师。辛颖还曾获得了葛兰姆学校的全额奖学金，并且是 Graham 2 的成员。
Xin Ying joined the company in 2011 and performed lead roles in several productions, including "Cave of the Heart," "Chronicle," "Diversion of Angels," "Clytemnestra," "Woodland," and "I Used to Love You." In 2008 she received the China Dance Lotus Award. She was the director of the Dance Department at Sichuan College of Arts & Culture and a guest teacher at the Graham School, the Beijing Dance Academy and Nanjing University of Arts. Xin was awarded a full scholarship to the Graham School and was a member of Graham 2.

卜智城，上海体育学院舞蹈编导本科和舞蹈专业研究生，现为上海立达学院传媒学院教师，曾任辛颖国际舞蹈与艺术中心运营总监和建桥学院教师，有美国和爱尔兰的短期海外学习经历。
BU Zhicheng, a teacher at Shanghai Lida College, graduated from Shanghai University of Sport. He was the Operating Director of Xin Ying International Dance and Art Center (Shanghai) and teacher of Shanghai Jianqiao College, studied in the United States and Ireland.

目前我们不要求参加活动的观众佩戴口罩，但如果戴口罩让您更安心，我们鼓励您这么做。参加活动请提前报名。活动会准时开始，是否有余位视现场观众到场情况而定。如果您到达时房间已满，您可能将不被允许进入，即使您已经报名。目前，我们只能保证到达的前80名观众入场。
Masks are not currently required to attend Shanghai American Center events, but audience members are encouraged to feel comfortable wearing them if they wish. Please be sure to RSVP if you intend to come.  Programs begin on time and seats are subject to space availability. If the room is full when you arrive, you might not be granted entry, even if you RSVP'd. We can only seat the first 80 guests at this time.

我们至少会在活动开始前15分钟启动安检流程以及入场。请您携带有效并带有照片的身份证件原件进入上海美国中心，证件复印件或照片将不被接受。
Doors will open and security screening will commence 15 minutes before the program starts. You must bring a valid physical photo ID in order to enter the Shanghai American Center (ShAC). Copies or pictures of IDs will not be accepted. 

安检过程中，我们会对所有即将进入上海美国中心的物品进行扫描。请勿携带笔记本电脑进入上海美国中心，手机、iPad及其他平板设备、智能手表等允许携带。
All belongings carried into the ShAC will be scanned during security screening. While guests may not bring laptop computers to Shanghai American Center programs, portable electronic devices, such as mobile phones, iPads and other tablets, and smartwatches are permitted.

Press inquiries should be directed to the U.S. Consulate Shanghai Press Office. Additionally, audio or video recording of the program will not be permitted.
