反性别暴力16日运动是一项年度的国际运动，从11月25日（消除对妇女的暴力行为国际日）启动，一直持续到12月10日。作为今年活动的一部分，我们将播放纪录片《私人暴力》。该片讲述了两名遭受家庭暴力幸存者的故事，以及她们的经历如何改变根深蒂固和误导性的假象，并揭示了她们紧闭大门后大部分看不到的世界。放映结束后，一位美国外交官将带领大家一起就关于如何建设一个没有家庭暴力的未来展开讨论。

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December.  As part of this year’s campaign, please join us for screening of the documentary film Private Violence, which explores the story of two American women surviving domestic abuse, how their experiences challenge entrenched and misleading assumptions. and provide a lens into a world that is largely invisible behind the closed doors of their home.  After the screening, an American diplomat will lead a discussion on building a future without domestic violence.    

活动将用英文进行。本次活动广州美国中心只能容纳58位观众，先到先得，满员后则不再允许入场，成功报名活动不代表一定保证可以入场，感谢您的理解。

This event will be conducted in English.  The Guangzhou American Center will only seat 58 visitors for this event.  The event is first come, first served, and will close when the event is full.  Reservation does not guarantee entry.  Thank you for your understanding.

Attendees will need to show their physical ID or passport to be admitted into the Consulate.  We do not provide safekeeping services for cameras and laptops, please do not bring them with you. Other belongings will be temporarily stored at the gate, including mobile phones and bags.

If you have any symptoms of physical discomfort, please do not attend.  We will take all possible measures to maintain a safe environment for public events.  Our facilities have state-of-the-art air filtration systems specifically designed to prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses in the building.  Strict sanitary measures will be taken at the venue, and hand sanitizer and face masks will be provided. The number of attendees at each event will be limited per current public health guidelines.
