这个激动人心的 EducationUSA 活动汇集了艺术与设计教育工作者和行业专业人士，讨论各种技术进步如何改变我们为周围世界设计的格局。这些技术包括人工智能、增强现实、虚拟现实、交互式安装、近频通信等，本次活动有助于帮助学生和年轻专业人士如何应用和适应这些新兴和不断发展的变化，以便更好地为大学申请、实习和未来的职业机会准备作品集。
This exciting EducationUSA event brings together Art & Design Educators and Industry Professionals to discuss how various technological advancements are changing the landscape of how we design for the world around us. These technologies include Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Interactive Installation, Near Frequency Communication among others, and this special session will help to inform both students and young professionals how they can adopt and adapt to these emerging and evolving systems in order to better prepare their portfolio of art and design work for university applications, internships and future career opportunities. 

纽约视觉艺术学院 (SVA) 的校友、前招生副主任 Chris Jessick 将主持此次活动，同时他也是电影制作人和创意总监。还有来自 Hackltech 的数字专家Michael Hackl 作为 AR和VR 专家，发表特别行业演讲。罗德岛设计学院 (RISD)的 招生主任和马里兰艺术学院 (MICA) 国际团队将向学生们介绍艺术院校的申请，随后进行问答环节。
Chris Jessick, Filmmaker and Creative Director,  Alumnus and Former Associate Director of Admissions from School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City will be hosting the event with a special industry presentation from Michael Hackl from Hackltech Digital Expert speaking as a specialist in AR and VR Immersive Technology, and addresses to students will be made by the Director of Admissions for Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and the International Team from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) followed by a Q&A Session.

报名须知 

目前我们不要求参加活动的观众佩戴口罩，但如果戴口罩让您更安心，我们鼓励您这么做。参加活动请提前报名。活动会准时开始，是否有余位视现场观众到场情况而定。如果您到达时房间已满，您可能将不被允许进入，即使您已经报名。目前，我们只能保证到达的前80名观众入场。
Masks are not currently required to attend Shanghai American Center events, but audience members are encouraged to feel comfortable wearing them if they wish. Please be sure to RSVP if you intend to come.  Programs begin on time and seats are subject to space availability. If the room is full when you arrive, you might not be granted entry, even if you RSVP'd. We can only seat the first 80 guests at this time.

Doors will open and security screening will commence 15 minutes before the program starts. You must bring a valid physical photo ID in order to enter the Shanghai American Center (ShAC). Copies or pictures of IDs will not be accepted. 

安检过程中，我们会对所有即将进入上海美国中心的物品进行扫描。请勿携带笔记本电脑进入上海美国中心，手机、iPad及其他平板设备、智能手表等允许携带。
All belongings carried into the ShAC will be scanned during security screening. While guests may not bring laptop computers to Shanghai American Center programs, portable electronic devices, such as mobile phones, iPads and other tablets, and smartwatches are permitted.

Press inquiries should be directed to the U.S. Consulate Shanghai Press Office. Additionally, audio or video recording of the program will not be permitted.

All program participants grant the Shanghai American Center and the U.S. Department of State permission to publish, exhibit, edit, alter, copy, or distribute their likeness in a photograph in any and all publications for Government or non-government purposes, including website entries and any lawful purpose, without payment, approval, or any other consideration in perpetuity.
