The Guangzhou American Center will host a screening of “Black Art: In the Absence of Light”, a documentary highlighting the careers of Black-American artists and the importance of their artwork to the contemporary art world. The film explores themes of representation, access, and the black subject’s significance to the narrative of U.S. art history.

广州美国中心将放映纪录片《黑人艺术：失光》，一部聚焦美国黑人艺术家的职业生涯及其艺术作品对当代艺术界的重要贡献的纪录片。该片探讨了代表、可及和黑人主体对美国艺术史的重要性等不同的主题。 

活动将用英文进行。本次活动广州美国中心只能容纳40位观众，先到先得，满员后则不再允许入场，成功报名活动不代表一定保证可以入场，感谢您的理解。

This event will be conducted in English. The Guangzhou American Center will only seat 40 visitors for this event. The event is first come, first served, and will close when the event is full. Reservation does not guarantee entry. Thank you for your understanding.
