广州美国中心将举办《冷却地球》观影和讨论活动。该片是PBS的一部纪录片，它采用全新方法报道气候变化危机。这部纪录片调查了可以延缓气候变化最具破坏性的影响并帮助我们为地球降温的新技术。欢迎来和我们一起，学习了解我们如何增强大气反射阳光、去除空气中二氧化碳以及让植物参与应对气候变化的自然能力。 

The Guangzhou American Center will host a screening of “Can We Cool the Planet?” a PBS documentary that takes a fresh approach to covering the climate change crisis.  The documentary investigates new technologies to delay the most devastating impacts of climate change and help us cool the planet. Join us to learn how we can enhance our atmosphere’s natural ability to reflect sunlight, remove carbon dioxide from the air, and enlist plants in the fight against climate change. 

活动将用英文进行。本次活动广州美国中心只能容纳40位观众，先到先得，满员后则不再允许入场，成功报名活动不代表一定保证可以入场，感谢您的理解。

This event will be conducted in English.  The Guangzhou American Center will only seat 40 visitors for this event.  The event is first come, first served, and will close when the event is full.  Reservation does not guarantee entry.  Thank you for your understanding.

The number of attendees at each event will be limited per current public health guidelines.
