These days I keep hearing that my fellow millennials are making no headway with life. Meanwhile, the U.S. history tells me that the post-World War I "Lost Generation" was followed by "the Greatest Generation" which had survived the Great Depression and World War II. So, hardship itself should not define any generation, be it labeled as Baby Boomers or Millennials. By the way, I am not a big fan of labels. 

 

I doubt we are a generation of discontent. I don't doubt the discontented in our generation can find their voice in Lorde's Royals.

 

I may not agree with Lorde's message, but I must say there's something about this young lady. She is far more than a songbird.
